The name Tulare Basin Radicals is a collective pseudonym for an informal, non-hierarchal group of anti-state, anti-capitalist radicals in the southern Central Valley. We produce anarchist material specifically for the Tulare Basin, hence the name. There are no members, no leaders, and no funding. We are not associated with any nonprofit group.

The TBR moniker was adopted in response to a growing activist movement catalyzed by the death of George Floyd in May 2020.

We believe in a diversity of tactics and operated centered around an analysis of the Central Valley’s industry being rooted in settler-colonialism, ecocide, and capitalism. In choosing Tulare Basin as a designator we are aligning ourselves with an ecological and theoretically pre-colonial image of the Valley.
